Brian D. Turner

Brian D. Turner is a seasoned bankruptcy attorney with over two decades of experience helping individuals navigate financial challenges through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy. His practice focuses on representing debtors, with a track record of securing favorable outcomes in both simple and complex cases, including In re Reed, 454 BR 790.

Brian began his academic journey at the University of Portland, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1995. He continued his studies abroad, completing a master’s degree at Lund Universitet Juridiska Institutionen in 1996. In 2003, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor for the Oregon Review of International Law.

Brian gained early legal experience as a law clerk at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Oregon. He later managed a major national firm’s Portland office, handling hundreds of consumer bankruptcy cases. He has filed well over a thousand cases and remains committed to guiding clients through financial recovery with skill and compassion.

Brian is licensed to practice in both Oregon and Washington and is admitted to the Federal District of Oregon. His dedication to service has earned him several honors, including the 2012 Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished rating and the 2016 Pro Bono Award from the Debtor Creditor Section Legal Aid.
