Brian D. Turner

Brian D. Turner is a seasoned bankruptcy attorney with over two decades of experience helping individuals navigate financial challenges through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Brian began his academic journey at the University of Portland, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1995. He continued his studies abroad, completing a master’s degree at Lund Universitet Juridiska Institutionen in 1996. In 2003, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor for the Oregon Review of International Law.

Brian began his legal career as a law clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Oregon, gaining firsthand insight into the bankruptcy process. He later led the Portland office of a major national law firm, successfully handling hundreds of consumer bankruptcy cases. Having filed well over a thousand bankruptcies, Brian now focuses on helping individuals and families achieve financial recovery with knowledgeable, practical guidance and genuine compassion.

Brian is licensed to practice in both Oregon and Washington and is admitted to the Federal District of Oregon. His dedication to service has earned him several honors, including the 2012 Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished rating and the 2016 Pro Bono Award from the Debtor Creditor Section Legal Aid. In 2021, he was recognized with the Martindale-Hubbell Client Champion Award.
