About
Rose Whelan is the founder of Whelan Law PLLC, where she focuses exclusively on estate planning for families, with a particular commitment to helping parents protect their children’s futures. Rose believes that creating a solid estate plan should be approachable and accessible, and she guides clients through the process with clarity and compassion.
Rose earned her Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School, following her undergraduate studies in Sociology at Mills College in California. To deepen her expertise, she later obtained an advanced legal degree—an LL.M. in Estate Planning and Elder Law—further equipping her to serve the unique needs of families and individuals planning for the future.
Rose launched her legal career in high-stakes litigation at top international law firms, where she represented major corporate clients and built a strong foundation in legal strategy, negotiation, and advocacy. Her commitment to exceptional client service and practical problem-solving led her to refocus her practice on estate planning. Today, Rose runs her own estate planning law firm, using her big-firm experience to deliver personalized guidance on wills, trusts, and long-term planning for individuals and families.
At Whelan Law PLLC, Rose works closely with families to craft customized estate plans that reflect their values and provide peace of mind. From naming guardians and establishing trusts to addressing elder law and special needs planning, she offers guidance every step of the way. Her approachable manner and personalized strategies help clients make informed, confident decisions.
