Robert Werking

Robert Werking is a seasoned criminal defense attorney with nearly 30 years of courtroom experience. As a partner at LFM Defense, he has built a strong reputation for delivering results through dedicated, aggressive representation. Mr. Werking focuses his practice on criminal defense, DUI defense, and civil protection orders. He has secured not guilty verdicts in serious cases, including murder, attempted murder, arson, sexual assault, and domestic violence. Unlike many attorneys who avoid trial, he is fully prepared to take a case to court when necessary.

Mr. Werking earned his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law in 1992. He also completed advanced legal training through the Trial Practice Institute at the National Criminal Defense College and the National College for DUI Defense at Harvard Law School. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder. His ongoing education and credentials reflect his deep commitment to excellence in defense work.

Admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1992, Mr. Werking has served in both public and private roles, including as a Legal Advisor for the Aurora Police Department. From 2007 to 2015, he practiced as a partner at Werking Law before joining LFM Defense. He is currently the Chapter Head for Arapahoe County and a lifetime member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar. He is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Arapahoe County Bar Association.
