Robert R. Axenfeld has built a strong reputation over 30 years of practicing intellectual property and technology law. His work covers trademark protection, patent counseling, portfolio management, and resolving disputes before federal courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Robert is known for achieving successful outcomes for businesses across a wide range of industries.

Robert’s educational path began with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Temple University. He then earned his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center). To further sharpen his courtroom skills, he completed an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy at Temple University Beasly School of Law. His technical and legal education provides a strong foundation for his work in intellectual property law.

Over his career, Robert has become federally licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has prosecuted hundreds of patent and trademark applications and represented clients in complex IP litigation across the country. His expertise includes handling administrative proceedings before the PTAB and TTAB, providing full-service support to his clients.

Robert’s notable victories include defeating a preliminary injunction motion in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and securing major sanctions in a patent case. He has successfully defended clients against trademark claims, always working with precision and commitment.
