Mr. Foster earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1975. Before that, he attended St. John’s University, where he gained a strong foundation in legal studies. His education provided him with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of real estate, business, and employment law.

Throughout his career, Mr. Foster has been committed to serving his clients and the community. He has played a key role in resolving legal disputes, structuring business agreements, and guiding clients through real estate transactions. Outside of his legal practice, Robert J. Foster is deeply involved in community leadership and nonprofit service. He currently serves as President and Trustee of the Northeast Lions Foundation and as Chair of the McNeely Center for Entrepreneurship at St. John’s University and the College of St. Benedict. He also sits on the Board of Directors for East Side Neighborhood Services and previously served as President of the St. Anthony Village Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he is a Past President of the St. John’s University National Alumni Board, reflecting his long-standing commitment to education, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement.
