Robert B. Peddy, Jr. is a respected Lakeland attorney with more than three decades of experience representing clients in family law, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Robert Peddy earned his B.A. from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and his J.D. from Stetson College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1991 and is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. His academic and professional foundation supports his effective and ethical advocacy in all areas of his practice.
Peddy began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in the Tenth Judicial Circuit, where he prosecuted white-collar crimes and gained extensive trial experience. In 1998, he joined Wendel, Chritton & Parks, Chartered, becoming a named partner two years later. In 2000, he established his own firm, focusing on family law and criminal defense. His thorough preparation and dedication have earned him the AV Preeminent rating, reflecting the highest standards of legal ability and ethics.
Active in the legal and civic community, Robert Peddy has served as President of the Lakeland Bar Association and the Polk County American Cancer Society Board.
