Gregory Light

Gregory Light is a Florida lawyer whose work spans consumer financial services litigation, personal injury, products liability, and appellate practice. He is known for providing clients with dependable representation in complex cases and for approaching every matter with professionalism, careful preparation, and respect for each client’s individual circumstances.

Gregory earned his B.A. in Political Science from St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens in 2009. He later completed his J.D. at St. Thomas University School of Law in 2015, graduating magna cum laude and ranking among the top five percent of his class. While studying law, he founded the St. Thomas Journal of Complex Litigation and served as its inaugural Editor-in-Chief. He was also Articles Editor for the St. Thomas Law Review, Executive Vice President of the Moot Court Team, and President of the Federal Bar Association Student Division during 2014–2015. His academic achievements were recognized with the Electronic Discovery Institute Summit Scholarship Award in Fall 2014.

Gregory’s early professional experience began at a mass tort firm in New York, where he assisted on claims involving defective medical devices and unsafe pharmaceuticals. That work strengthened his determination to advocate for those affected by corporate negligence. Since then, his practice has grown to include foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, debt defense, and personal injury representation, where he applies both litigation skill and compassion to secure favorable outcomes for his clients.

Gregory Light is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. As an active member of the Federal Bar Association and the Broward County Bar Association, he remains dedicated to advancing ethical advocacy and helping individuals navigate challenging legal and financial issues with clarity and confidence.
