Robert A. Corchine

Robert A. Corchine is an experienced trial attorney whose career has centered on litigation and courtroom advocacy. Since 1988, he has handled complex disputes and tried more than fifty jury trials to verdict. His long record of courtroom work reflects strong preparation, steady judgment, and a deep understanding of civil litigation practice.

Robert built his legal foundation through focused academic training in political science and law. He first earned a B.A. in 1983, majoring in Political Science, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Kansas City, Missouri. He later completed his legal studies and received a J.D. in 1987 from Southern Methodist University School of Law, Dallas, Texas.

Robert developed a career focused on litigation, representing clients in a wide range of civil matters. His experience in jury trials has given him valuable courtroom insight and the ability to manage demanding cases from early strategy through final verdict. This depth of experience allows him to guide clients through complex legal disputes.

Robert is admitted to practice law in Texas and New Mexico, and he is also admitted to the U.S. District Court Northern District of Texas and the U.S. District Court District of New Mexico. These admissions allow him to represent clients in both state and federal courts across multiple jurisdictions.

Robert has also contributed to the legal community through professional education and service. He has presented seminars addressing civil procedure, tort law, insurance coverage, and insurance law. In addition, he served as a Past Board Member of the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association from 2013–2015, supporting professional development in the legal field.
