Robb D. Edmonds is a founding partner of Edmonds & Cmaidalka, P.C., where he practices exclusively in intellectual property law. With a background in engineering and chemistry, Mr. Edmonds provides clients with highly technical and strategic counsel in matters involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. His practice spans IP prosecution, litigation, licensing, and corporate transactions.
Mr. Edmonds earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law, a B.S. in Chemistry from Emory University, and an M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Combining deep legal knowledge with hands-on industry experience in oil and gas, polymers, and chemical processing, Mr. Edmonds excels at drafting and prosecuting patents and enforcing intellectual property rights. He also assists with licensing agreements, corporate mergers, and acquisitions where IP assets play a central role.
Mr. Edmonds is actively involved in legal associations, including the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association, the Intellectual Property Owner’s Association, the Houston Bar Association, and the College of the State Bar of Texas.
