Leslie M. Pineyro is a partner at Jones & Walden LLC, where she concentrates her practice on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, business transactions, real estate matters, and trademark law. She represents a broad range of clients, including small businesses, financial institutions, and entrepreneurs, in state and federal courts as well as in transactional matters.

Leslie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee in 2001. She went on to graduate magna cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law in 2006, where she received the Public Service Award and CALI Awards for Excellence in Copyright Law and Entertainment Law.

Leslie’s bankruptcy experience includes representing debtors, creditors, and equity holders in Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 proceedings. Leslie has successfully confirmed numerous Chapter 11 plans, overseen Section 363 asset sales, served as a Chapter 11 trustee, and protected creditor rights in both litigation and negotiated resolutions. She also handles receivership proceedings, foreclosure matters, and complex adversary proceedings.

In her commercial litigation work, Leslie represents clients in contract disputes, fraudulent transfer actions, alter ego claims, and real estate-related litigation. She frequently participates in mediations, using strategic advocacy to achieve favorable settlements. Her business practice includes advising on the purchase and sale of businesses, lease negotiations, business formation, and trademark and copyright matters.

Before joining Jones & Walden in 2008, Leslie M. Pineyro practiced at Jonathan E. Leonard, P.C., a boutique entertainment law firm. There, she negotiated contracts and managed business and intellectual property issues for high-profile entertainment clients, including Grammy Award-winning artists, producers, and writers. This diverse professional background allows Leslie to deliver comprehensive, results-driven legal counsel tailored to each client’s unique goals.
