Rives White

Rives White has developed his legal career through more than a decade of experience handling criminal defense, business, and real estate matters. He has represented clients in a wide range of legal disputes, from misdemeanor charges to serious felonies, while also providing guidance in civil and transactional issues that impact individuals and businesses.

Rives began his academic journey at the University of Wyoming, earning a B.S. in Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management in 2010. During his undergraduate studies, he was active in the University of Wyoming Range Club and served as a Senator for the College of Agriculture within ASUW. Building upon this foundation, he completed his J.D. in Law from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2013. While in law school, he participated in the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition at PACE University and engaged with the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association Student Chapter.

Rives gained practical training in criminal law under the mentorship of John LaBuda, a seasoned trial attorney who later became a judge. This experience shaped his understanding of trial work, which he further expanded by handling cases involving DUI, drug possession, theft, battery, reckless endangerment, unlawful entry, and homicide charges. His approach to criminal defense balances negotiation of plea agreements with readiness to proceed to trial when needed.

Drawing on extensive trial experience, strategic problem-solving skills, and a strong academic background, he provides practical, results-driven legal representation.
