Riki King is an experienced immigration attorney at Harlan York & Associates, representing clients in both business and family-based immigration matters. She frequently appears in Immigration Court and before the Immigration Service in multiple states, guiding clients through complex proceedings with skilled advocacy and a commitment to positive outcomes.
Riki graduated third in her class from New York Law School, where she concentrated in Immigration Law and served as Executive Notes Editor of the Law Review. She was also named a John Marshall Harlan Scholar. Before law school, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and pursued additional studies in Spain and Wales, broadening her international perspective.
Throughout her career, Riki has obtained approvals in complex employment, family, and citizenship cases. She formerly served as an Immigration Staff Attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She also spent a number of years at a large international law firm in New York, where she was involved in complex litigation matters. Her strong commitment to service is reflected in the Legal Aid Society’s pro bono awards she received in 2007 and 2011.
Riki’s background also includes immigration internships at Catholic Charities, Northeast New Jersey Legal Services, and The Legal Aid Society, where she gained hands-on experience with humanitarian and family-based cases. Today, she continues to provide comprehensive representation in employment visa cases, family petitions, and naturalization applications, while offering courtroom advocacy when necessary.
