Richard Schwartz

Richard Schwartz is the founder of Richard Schwartz & Associates Injury Lawyers, P.A., and has been serving Mississippi residents for more than 40 years. Known as “Your Mississippi Attorney,” he has built his practice on protecting the rights of injured individuals and helping them secure the compensation they deserve through trusted advocacy.

Richard earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Millsaps College before pursuing his Juris Doctor at the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he graduated in 1978. While in law school, he was an active member of Phi Delta Phi Honor Fraternity and served as an officer on the Moot Court Board. His legal education established the foundation for a career focused on client-centered representation.

Before founding his firm, Richard gained diverse legal and professional experience as a real estate broker, closing attorney, and city prosecutor. He served as Assistant City Prosecutor in Jackson for 10 years and as City Prosecutor for Ridgeland for 2 years. These roles broadened his perspective and strengthened his courtroom skills, which he now applies in personal injury litigation.
