Andre F. Ducote

Andre F. Ducote is a seasoned attorney with Morgan & Morgan, focusing his practice on workers’ compensation, personal injury, product liability, and employment law. Licensed in all Mississippi state and federal courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, he has represented clients across a wide range of complex legal matters throughout his career.

Andre earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Mississippi in 1992 and then completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1995. While in law school, he gained practical experience through the Housing Law Clinic, where he represented low-income clients in residential housing disputes. This early advocacy shaped his commitment to representing individuals and protecting their rights.

With over two decades of experience, Andre has represented clients in criminal defense, domestic relations, medical malpractice, toxic torts, and employment discrimination.

Since joining Morgan & Morgan in 2010, his practice has focused on workers’ compensation, advocating for injured employees before the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Division. His diverse background allows him to advise clients on both workers’ compensation and broader litigation needs.

Beyond his courtroom practice, Andre is committed to education and service. He has lectured for the National Business Institute, training attorneys and paralegals in mediation, discovery, and document review. He also served as president and counsel for Heritage School, supporting children with learning disabilities.

Andre F.
