Richard D. Kinkade (Rick) is a highly experienced consumer bankruptcy attorney and the founder of the Law Office of Richard D. Kinkade, based in Irving, Texas. Richard graduated with honors from Illinois State University in 1977 and earned his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 1980.
Richard Kinkade launched his legal career as a law clerk with the U.S. Attorney’s Office while still in law school, then went on to serve as a prosecutor in Circleville, Ohio. In 1981, he was commissioned as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps and stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, where he handled both prosecution and legal advisory duties for the First Cavalry Division.
Since entering private practice and founding his firm in 1996, Richard has focused almost exclusively on consumer bankruptcy law. With an estimated 12,000 bankruptcy cases filed over his career, he brings unmatched experience and insight to each client’s situation.
