Chris Barsness

Chris Barsness is a corporate and securities attorney with over two decades of experience advising businesses on complex legal and financial matters. Since 2002, he has guided private and public companies through capital raises, private placements, M&A transactions, and public reporting requirements, earning a reputation for excellence in deal execution and strategic counsel.

Chris holds a BBA in Finance from Baylor University – Hankamer School of Business, a Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. His academic credentials form the core of a legal practice built on financial acumen and regulatory expertise.

Chris has led legal efforts on hundreds of Regulation D private offerings, including over 100 single-asset deals and the formation of more than 20 blind pool funds. He has represented clients on both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions valued from $200,000 to $162 million.
