Richard C. Weinbaum

Richard C. Weinbaum is a seasoned trial attorney with extensive experience in negligence, personal injury, and malpractice cases. His practice focuses on securing compensation for victims of automobile accidents, premises liability, products liability, wrongful death, and medical malpractice. Richard graduated cum laude from Grinnell College in 1981 with a degree in Biology before earning his Juris Doctor, also cum laude, from New York Law School in 1985. That same year, he was admitted to practice before the courts of New Jersey, New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. His academic achievements laid a strong foundation for his focus on complex injury and malpractice litigation.

Early in his career, Richard concentrated on plaintiffs’ personal injury and medical malpractice matters in Brooklyn, New York, helping secure multimillion-dollar settlements, including cases involving children born with cerebral palsy. He also played a role in obtaining court approval for one of New York’s earliest Supplemental Needs Trusts, ensuring injured children could access settlement funds without losing social services benefits.

Since joining his current firm in New Jersey in 2003, Richard C. Weinbaum has become an integral member of the team, applying his trial, appellate, and research skills to hundreds of cases.
