He holds a degree from the United States Naval Academy, where he trained as a Surface Warfare Officer before beginning his legal career. Additionally, he completed a Master of Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law, further refining his skills in negotiation and conflict resolution. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
