Rex Tran

Rex Tran, Esq. is a dedicated bankruptcy attorney who focuses his legal practice on helping individuals and families overcome financial difficulties. He has represented consumer debtors in over 1,000 Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases throughout Orange County, Los Angeles, and Riverside. With years of hands-on experience, Mr. Tran works closely with clients to help them regain control of their finances. He is known for delivering high-quality legal services and guiding clients through each step of the bankruptcy process.

Mr. Tran earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA. He also holds a B.S., cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine.

Mr. Tran launched his legal career as Managing Attorney at the largest bankruptcy law firm in the United States before co-founding The Law Offices of Chen & Tran. He later established Tran Bankruptcy Law, where he continues to work directly with clients, guiding them through every stage of the bankruptcy process. Known for his strategic, results-focused representation and dedication to client care, Mr. Tran also trains every member of his team to uphold the firm’s high standards in all bankruptcy cases.

In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Tran proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 15 years, reaching the rank of Sergeant First Class. As a Chief Paralegal, he worked on courts-martial cases, military boards, and legal assistance for soldiers. His military background further strengthened his legal knowledge and leadership skills.

Rex Tran is admitted to practice in California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the Southern District of California. Mr. Tran is a member of the California Bankruptcy Forum, Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, Orange County Bar Association, and both Northern and Southern Vietnamese American Bar Associations. He is also part of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
