Rex Tran

Rex Tran, Esq. is a dedicated bankruptcy attorney who focuses his legal practice on helping individuals and families overcome financial difficulties. He has represented consumer debtors in over 1,000 Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases throughout Orange County, Los Angeles, and Riverside. With years of hands-on experience, Mr. Tran works closely with clients to help them regain control of their finances. Mr. Tran earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA. He also holds a B.S., cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine.

Mr. Tran began his legal career as a Managing Attorney for the largest bankruptcy firm in the U.S. before co-founding The Law Offices of Chen & Tran. He later founded Tran Bankruptcy Law, where he continues to provide direct legal support to clients. His legal approach combines skillful strategy with a commitment to client care. Mr. Tran also ensures that every team member in his firm is trained to maintain high service standards for all bankruptcy matters.

In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Tran proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 15 years, reaching the rank of Sergeant First Class. As a Chief Paralegal, he worked on courts-martial cases, military boards, and legal assistance for soldiers. His military background further strengthened his legal knowledge and leadership skills.

Rex Tran is admitted to practice in California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the Southern District of California. Mr. Tran is a member of the California Bankruptcy Forum, Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, Orange County Bar Association, and both Northern and Southern Vietnamese American Bar Associations. He is also part of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
