Her practice centers on guiding individuals through family law, estate planning, traffic matters, and civil litigation. She is known for combining strong courtroom skills with a practical, people-focused approach.
Rebecca completed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University, earning a BA – Bachelor of Arts in 1994. She continued her legal education at Capital University, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 1997. Her academic background laid a strong foundation for courtroom advocacy and client-focused legal practice.
Rebecca returned to North Carolina to launch her legal career as a prosecutor in Union County. For three years, she appeared regularly in District and Superior Courts, trying criminal cases before judges and juries. In 2001, she opened her first law office and focused on family law matters, including divorce, custody, and related issues. Her work emphasizes building trust, offering clear guidance, and helping clients make informed decisions.
Rebecca has pursued advanced credentials to better serve her clients. She is certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a family law specialist and certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission as a family financial mediator. She is also a member of the Charlotte Collaborative Divorce Professionals.
Rebecca has received multiple professional recognitions reflecting both peer respect and client trust. Her honors include Super Lawyer, Super Lawyers (2025), AV Preeminent Rated, Martindale-Hubbell (2023), Client Champion Award, Martindale-Hubbell (2023 and 2019), and Preeminent 5.0 out of 5, Martindale-Hubbell (2019).
