Aden Wilkie

Aden Wilkie is a criminal defense attorney who represents military members nationwide and civilians across southeastern North Carolina. With more than two decades of service in the United States Marine Corps, he brings disciplined judgment, strategic focus, and courtroom strength to complex criminal and military justice matters.

Aden earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. He later completed his Juris Doctorate at Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. Advancing his legal education, he obtained a Master of Laws in Criminal Law from the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate Legal Center and School.

Aden began his legal career while serving as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. His training included Officer Candidate School, The Basic School in Quantico, and the Naval Justice School in Newport. These experiences prepared him for demanding roles as both trial counsel and defense counsel.

Aden handled high-level military justice matters throughout multiple deployments, advising commanders and defending service members in serious cases. His performance earned recognition such as the Legion of Merit and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, reflecting sustained excellence in complex legal and operational environments.

Aden also received honors, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, and Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal. These awards highlight his ability to lead under pressure, navigate contested legal battlegrounds, and protect the rights of individuals facing the full power of the government.

Aden Wilkie now applies his deep understanding of military and civilian systems to criminal defense work, focusing on careful strategy and decisive advocacy. He knows when resolution is appropriate and when a forceful defense is required, always working to secure the strongest possible outcome for those he represents.
