About
Rebecca Kopp Levine helps employers address workplace challenges with a practical and forward-looking approach. Her practice focuses on workers’ compensation matters, workplace safety concerns, and employment law counseling. Drawing on experience as a former engineer, she evaluates workforce issues from both legal and operational perspectives while helping organizations reduce risk and support productive workplaces.
Rebecca earned a B.S. from Purdue University in 1999 before obtaining a J.D. from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 2002. This educational background combines technical understanding with legal training. Her academic foundation supports her ability to analyze complex workplace matters and develop solutions that address both compliance and business concerns.
Rebecca represents employers throughout Ohio before the Industrial Commission and the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. Her work includes handling workers’ compensation claims, permanent total disability claims, and allegations involving specific safety rules. She also assists employers with rating, classification, and premium disputes, while representing them in workers’ compensation appeals before Ohio state courts.
Rebecca regularly advises employers on workplace compliance issues that arise during daily operations. Her guidance covers employee relations, hiring and termination practices, handbook reviews, policy development, unemployment compensation matters, and maintaining safe work environments. She works closely with organizations to help them understand legal obligations and make informed workforce decisions.
Rebecca also assists employers with leave administration and reasonable accommodation matters. She provides counsel on Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policy administration and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). By addressing the interaction between leave laws, disability requirements, and workers’ compensation statutes, she helps employers navigate challenging compliance questions.
