Raquel earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1993, following a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies from New York University, where she graduated cum laude. Her global educational experiences, including time at universities in Spain, Brazil, France, and Italy, have enhanced her cultural understanding and multilingual capabilities, making her an invaluable asset in serving a diverse clientele.

Throughout her legal career, Raquel has focused on family-based immigration, removal defense, asylum applications, consular processing, and other areas of immigration law.
