Ralph W. Meekins

Ralph W. Meekins is a partner known for dedicated advocacy on behalf of individuals facing serious legal challenges. A fourth-generation attorney, he has built a career centered on leadership, integrity, and standing up for those without a voice, providing practical guidance and strong representation throughout North Carolina.

Ralph’s academic foundation was shaped at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a B.S. in psychology and physical education. He later completed his Juris Doctor at Campbell University School of Law, graduating with Distinction while serving on Law Review and leading the Moot Court Board.

Following law school, Ralph began his legal career in Raleigh with Young, Moore, Henderson P.A., where he focused on defense litigation for businesses and professionals. His work demanded precision, preparation, and courtroom discipline, experiences that strengthened his skills as a litigator and advisor handling complex, high-stakes disputes throughout North Carolina.

Driven by a desire to help individuals more directly, Ralph relocated to Cleveland County to cofound a new firm committed to accessibility and client-focused service. This move marked a shift toward representing people who needed strong voices, ensuring availability, approachability, and zealous advocacy within the western North Carolina legal community.

Ralph’s practice concentrates on personal injury and workers’ compensation, supported by Board Certification in Civil Trial Advocacy and certification as a mediator. Peer recognition includes honors such as NC Super Lawyer, Top 100 Lawyer in NC, Million-Dollar Advocates Forum, and recognition in Best Lawyers 2025 by respected legal organizations.
