Raj Dua

Raj Dua is the founding partner of Dua Law Firm, PLLC in Fairfax, Virginia. He represents clients throughout Northern Virginia in traffic, criminal defense, divorce, estate planning, landlord-tenant, personal injury, and general civil litigation matters. His practice includes DUI/DWI, reckless driving, suspended license cases, larceny, assault and battery, juvenile offenses, custody, support, protective orders, wills, trusts, and automobile accident claims. Mr. Dua earned an LL.M. from The John Marshall Law School in 2000 after receiving a J.D. from the same school in 1999. He also earned an M.P.A. from George Mason University in 1993 and a B.S. from Old Dominion University in 1990. His legal and public administration background supports his ability to evaluate the facts of a case, explain options, and guide clients through civil, criminal, family, and estate planning matters with careful judgment.

Mr. Dua has broad trial and public service experience. Before building his trial practice, he worked for the Internal Revenue Service and received the Commissioner’s Award, the highest award given by the IRS Commissioner. He is licensed to practice before all Virginia state courts and the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He regularly appears in Virginia Circuit Court, General District Court, and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in both civil and criminal matters.
