Rachel Sabo Friedmann

Rachel Sabo Friedmann is a founding partner of The Friedmann Firm LLC and an Ohio attorney focused on plaintiff-side employment litigation. She represents employees in workplace disputes involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, whistleblower claims, unpaid wages, overtime, commissions, employee misclassification, Family and Medical Leave Act issues, and severance negotiations. Her work includes individual claims and broader wage-and-hour matters in state and federal courts.

Rachel earned a degree in Journalism and Promotional Communication from Cleveland State University before receiving her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 2012. In law school, she spent two years on the Mock Trial team and served on the Philip J. Fulton Fall National Moot Court Team. She received the Philip J. Fulton Best Oralist Award for her oral advocacy and also studied international criminal and humanitarian law at the Asser Institute in The Hague.

Rachel is admitted to practice in Ohio, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Her experience includes Oakley v. OSUWMC, a wage-and-hour case that settled for $4 million and benefited thousands of healthcare workers. The Central Ohio Association for Justice presented her with its Louisville Slugger Award in 2020 for her work on the case.

Rachel Sabo Friedmann was selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2015 through 2022 and Super Lawyers from 2023 through 2026. She is also recognized by Best Lawyers and received Capital University Law School’s Graduate of the Last Decade Award in 2023. Her leadership includes serving on the Women Lawyers of Franklin County board from 2013 through 2021, including a term as president, and participating as an Ohio State Bar Foundation Fellow and in the Ohio State Bar Association Leadership Academy.
