Rachel Lindsay

Rachel Lindsay is a civil defense litigation attorney at Cooper & Scully, P.C., where she represents clients in complex lawsuits and disputes across state and federal courts. Her practice focuses on local government law, commercial litigation, tort law, premises liability, and insurance defense. Rachel earned her B.S. in Sports Management from The University of Texas at Austin, where she developed an understanding of the legal and business aspects of athletics. She later received her J.D. from Marquette University Law School, where she concentrated in sports law and strengthened her skills in legal research, advocacy, and professional responsibility. This education prepared her for complex litigation work.

Rachel gained valuable legal experience working in both criminal and sports law environments before joining Cooper & Scully, P.C. She served with the State Public Defender’s Office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she assisted with criminal defense matters and supported the protection of constitutional rights. She also worked under the Associate General Counsel of the Milwaukee Bucks, where she observed the legal operations of a professional sports organization and gained insight into regulatory, contractual, and compliance issues affecting major institutions nationwide on a daily basis.
