Rachel Berenson

Rachel Berenson is the founding partner of Berenson & Associates, PC, a trusted Albuquerque-based law firm focused on personal injury, nursing home abuse, and employment law. With years of experience advocating for victims of negligence and workplace injustice, Rachel is known for delivering compassionate, strategic, and effective legal representation. She combines legal skill with technical insight, holding certifications in car accident reconstruction and at-scene crash investigation, which strengthen her ability to build strong injury claims.

Rachel earned her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. She completed her undergraduate degree at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, receiving a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology. She also undertook intensive coursework in Spanish history and literature at Universidad de Mendoza in Argentina.

Before establishing her firm, Rachel worked in both private and public legal sectors. She served as a senior trial attorney in the 2nd Judicial District in Albuquerque, focusing on vehicular homicide and crimes against children, and also worked as a domestic violence coordinator for the Legal Aid Society. Her experience includes representing plaintiffs at Keller & Keller and prosecuting high-stakes criminal cases, which has shaped her thorough and victim-centered approach in civil litigation.
