R. Brendan Dummigan

R. Brendan Dummigan is the Managing Partner at Pickett Dummigan Weingart and has been practicing law since 1993. He focuses on medical malpractice, construction site injuries, and motor vehicle collisions. Fluent in Spanish, he is known for advocating for underrepresented individuals and guiding clients through the complexities of civil litigation.

Brendan earned his Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 1993. Before that, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado in 1987 and studied abroad at the University of Seville in Spain in 1986. His educational background supports his multilingual and multicultural legal service.

Since co-founding Pickett Dummigan LLP in 2003 with J. Randolph Pickett, Brendan has tried more than 50 cases and resolved thousands more. His early travels in South America, where he observed attorneys educating farmers on their land rights, continue to shape his mission to help individuals facing powerful institutions.

In addition to his legal work, Brendan is deeply involved in the community. He has served on nonprofit boards, spoken at legal seminars and schools, and volunteers weekly with local literacy programs. He brings the same compassion and dedication from his community work into his law practice.
