Austin J. NeffAustin J. Neff is a partner at Osborn Machler & Neff, PLLC, focusing on serious personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, sexual abuse, civil rights, and product liability cases. His career is marked by powerful courtroom advocacy and strong results for clients. From the beginning, Austin has shown an outstanding ability to represent those harmed by negligence or abuse. His first civil jury trial resulted in a $1.08 million verdict, making history in Lewis County, Washington.

Austin earned his B.A. from Central Washington University in 2015, where he was part of the William O. Douglas Honors College. He then received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2020. While in law school, he served on the Moot Court Honor Board, won both mock trial and negotiation competitions, and graduated with the National Order of the Barristers, recognizing excellence in courtroom advocacy.

Before joining Osborn Machler & Neff, PLLC, Austin worked at the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, handling serious criminal cases. This background gave him valuable trial experience. Since joining the firm in 2021, he has recovered millions in settlements and verdicts for clients, often in complex and highly sensitive cases. He handles each case with care, working hard to reach fair results through trial, negotiation, or mediation.

Austin is licensed to practice in both Washington and Oregon. He has built a reputation for being prepared, persuasive, and dedicated. He also helps train new lawyers, having served as Co-Chair for the Washington State Bar Association’s Trial Advocacy Program.

Austin J. Neff’s talent has earned him several honors, including being named the APEX Young Lawyer of the Year in 2024 by the Washington State Bar Association and a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, recognizing the top 2.5% of young attorneys.
