Phillip S. Aurbach

Phillip S. Aurbach is the founding partner of Marquis Aurbach Chtd and one of Nevada’s most respected litigators. With more than 45 years of legal experience, he concentrates on resolving complex real estate, contract, and business disputes. His legal practice covers non-compete agreements, partnership and corporate breakups, and high-stakes commercial litigation. In addition to representing clients in court, Mr. Aurbach dedicates part of his practice to arbitration and mediation, serving both privately and through the American Arbitration Association (AAA). He also served for 17 years as a Settlement Judge for the Nevada Supreme Court.

Mr. Aurbach earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1977, where he served as Research Editor of the San Diego Law Review. He received his B.S. from Western Kentucky University in 1973.

Over the course of his distinguished career, Mr. Aurbach has authored two chapters of the Nevada Civil Practice Manual and published numerous articles on trial strategy, post-judgment remedies, and real estate law. He lectures regularly for legal education programs hosted by the State Bar of Nevada, the Clark County Bar, and national organizations. Known for his blend of negotiation skills and litigation strength, he works to resolve disputes efficiently but stands ready to litigate when necessary.
