Philip D. Ryan

Philip D. Ryan is a seasoned attorney with a distinguished career focused on Social Security Disability law. He joined his father’s firm in 1986 and has since built a statewide reputation for thorough case preparation and client advocacy. His practice also includes personal injury and past experience in workers’ compensation law.

Philip earned his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1987, graduating fourth in his class while working during the day. He previously earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1981, following his attendance at Oklahoma State University. His legal career began at the Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner’s Office.

Over the decades, Philip has transitioned from workers’ compensation cases to become one of Oklahoma’s foremost attorneys in Social Security Disability law. Known for his in-depth knowledge of medical records and conditions, he personally handles each case from intake to hearing, ensuring every client receives focused and experienced legal representation.

Philip has led the state’s legal community through roles such as Chairman of the Disability Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association, twice elected, and past President of Lawyers for Working Oklahomans.
