Peter T. Moore

Peter T. Moore is a seasoned attorney concentrating on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial real estate. With over two decades of experience, he serves as outside general counsel to numerous businesses, advising on complex transactions, risk management, and strategic planning. His litigation background enhances his ability to structure deals that avoid disputes and promote efficient outcomes.

Peter earned his B.S.F.S. in International Economics from Georgetown University and his J.D. from the University of Denver, where he served as Managing Editor of the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy. He also completed a fellowship at the University of Heidelberg in Germany through the DAAD program, further broadening his global legal perspective.

Before shifting focus to transactional work, Peter tried approximately 35 jury and bench trials across state and federal courts. This gave him a keen understanding of how to prevent litigation through strategic deal-making. His practice now spans asset sales, corporate finance, capital raises, equipment leasing, and entity formation, especially in industries like professional sports, energy, and retail.

Peter T. Moore has led multimillion-dollar deals, such as a $150 million mezzanine credit facility, a $25 million master drilling agreement, and the sale of multi-store retail companies. He has also served as general counsel for Major League Rugby and continues to support growing businesses with governance, compliance, and strategic counsel.

Recognized for his community service, Peter has served on numerous boards, including the Colorado Business Roundtable and the Colorado Chamber of Commerce. He frequently presents on mergers, acquisitions, and distribution agreements, bringing practical insights to peers and clients alike.
