Peter Scaglione, Jr.

Peter Scaglione, Jr. is a Member of Scaglione Law Group P.A. whose practice focuses on matrimonial and family law. He has been in sole practice since 1979 and has handled thousands of family law matters, ranging from straightforward proceedings to complex disputes. His work includes divorce and other family law issues requiring careful attention to clients’ legal rights and changing family circumstances. His long-standing practice has given him extensive experience handling matters within this area of Florida law.

Mr. Scaglione earned his B.A. in American History from the University of Tampa in 1972. He received his J.D. from Vermont Law School in 1976. Before returning to Florida, he worked in the Vermont House of Representatives. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1977. He later completed Mediation Training in Family Law through the University of South Florida in 1998, adding formal mediation training to his background in matrimonial and family law.

Mr. Scaglione has shared his knowledge of family law through teaching and professional education beyond representing clients. He has served as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Tampa, St. Leo University, and Hillsborough Community College. He has also presented talks on family law subjects and appeared as a guest speaker at legal education seminars in the Tampa Bay area, contributing his practical experience to educational programs for students and members of the legal community.
