Paula F. Angelini

Paula F. Angelini is a Senior Counsel with more than three decades of in-house commercial banking and lending experience. She has built a reputation as a trusted advisor and effective leader in the financial services space. Her career reflects deep knowledge of business banking, lending operations, and regulatory matters.

Paula earned her B.Sc. from Dominican University, followed by her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. She is admitted to practice in Illinois. Her education and early exposure to banking law shaped her long-standing focus on commercial finance and client service.

Paula served as the national legal liaison for Business Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In that role, she led a large team of attorneys supporting four business banking regions across the United States. Her work primarily involved companies with revenues of $5 million to $20 million, and in major metropolitan areas, she also worked with companies with up to $50 million in revenue.

Paula joined Bank of America through its 2007 acquisition of LaSalle Bank Corporation. At LaSalle, she spent 17 years in the legal department, holding several roles focused on commercial lending. Her experience allows her to understand both the legal and business sides of complex financial transactions.

Paula is known for her strategic thinking and practical problem-solving skills. She has a strong ability to navigate large organizations and bring together the right people to move deals forward. Her focus on relationships, clear communication, and efficiency has helped clients achieve their goals.
