Paul W. Carey is a highly regarded attorney and co-managing partner at his firm. As a partner in the Creditors’ Rights, Bankruptcy, and Reorganization Group, he focuses on creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and business reorganization matters. His practice also encompasses commercial litigation, business financing, and the representation of clients in complex insolvency proceedings.
A graduate of Fairfield University (B.A., 1990), Mr. Carey earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 1994. Since then, he has built a distinguished legal career with excellence in advocacy and deep expertise in navigating bankruptcy and insolvency challenges.
Mr. Carey represents various clients, including creditors, debtors, creditors’ committees, trustees, and receivers. His work includes guiding borrowers and lenders through out-of-court loan restructurings, managing receiverships, and facilitating assignments for the benefit of creditors. He has also been instrumental in the purchase and sale of distressed businesses.
Mr. Carey is a widely recognized leader in bankruptcy, creditor rights, and insolvency law.
