Paul S. Geller

Paul S. Geller is a criminal defense and DUI lawyer serving clients in Pasadena and Southern California. He uses his broad background to negotiate and argue cases with skill. His work includes helping clients seek settlements, dismissals, and strong results in serious criminal matters with steady guidance and care.

Paul earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado Boulder after showing leadership as a college baseball player. He later returned to Los Angeles and earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law, where he also worked with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

Paul began his legal career with the L.A. District Attorney’s Office, where he served for several years as a trial attorney. During that time, he tried many types of cases, including DUI and homicide matters, gaining valuable courtroom experience on the prosecution side of criminal law practice early on.

Paul has received several honors for his legal work. His awards include the Super Lawyers Award from 2020 to 2024, Pasadena’s Top Lawyers Award from 2020 to 2024, the AVVO Top Contributor Award in 2020, and Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2009 to 2012 for excellence.

Paul is active in professional and community organizations. He has been involved with the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, Southern California Bar Association, and the Indigent Criminal Defense Appointments Program. He has also coached and judged trial advocacy teams and competitions for law students.

Paul has specialized DUI defense training through the National College for DUI Defense. He also has certified training in field sobriety tests, DUI and DWI detection, and the use and calibration of the Alco-Sensor IV alcohol detection device, supporting his focused DUI defense work in court for clients.
