Paul spent more than two decades serving in the Texas Attorney General’s office. Much of that time was dedicated to the Consumer Protection Division, where he eventually became Division Chief. He later served as Associate Deputy Attorney General for Civil Litigation, overseeing a wide range of plaintiff-oriented civil matters involving consumer protection, environmental issues, antitrust concerns, Medicaid fraud, bankruptcy, and collections.
Paul brings extensive experience from leading major investigations and enforcement actions involving large companies and multistate matters. His understanding of how regulators evaluate cases allows him to guide clients through investigations, compliance challenges, and policy issues. He is known for developing practical strategies that help organizations respond effectively while limiting disruption and legal exposure.
