About
Paul Choquette is the founder of Choquette Immigration Law Group (CLG), a firm dedicated exclusively to U.S. immigration law since 1992. With decades of experience, Paul has guided thousands of individuals and families through the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. His deep understanding of the process, both personally and professionally, makes him a uniquely empathetic and effective advocate for his clients.
Paul earned his B.A. from Union College in 1985 and his J.D. from UOP McGeorge School of Law in 1989. He is also a candidate for an M.A. at New York University.
Paul’s own immigration journey began when he moved from Montreal, Canada, to the United States as a student visa holder. Later, after marrying a U.S. citizen, he personally handled his own conditional and permanent residence applications before becoming a naturalized citizen. This personal experience shapes his client-centered approach and commitment to transparency.
At Choquette Immigration Law Group (CLG), Paul focuses on family-based immigration, including fiancé(e) visas, marriage green cards, relative petitions, and U.S. citizenship applications. He provides each client with a clear plan of action and a realistic view of possible outcomes. His legal strategies are tailored to each case, ensuring clients receive high-quality service, whether they are in Seattle or anywhere else in the U.S.
Paul Choquette emphasizes honesty, accessibility, and clarity—principles that have helped his firm become a nationally recognized resource for family immigration services. Clients trust Paul for his knowledge, responsiveness, and ability to make a complex process understandable and manageable.
With over 30 years of experience and a foundation built on personal insight, Paul continues to be a reliable guide and advocate for immigrants seeking a better future in the United States.
