Patrick J. McGroder III

Patrick J. McGroder III is a Founding Partner and a nationally recognized trial attorney concentrating on High Stakes Litigation and Plaintiffs’ Catastrophic Injury & Wrongful Death. He leads complex cases involving aviation disasters, defective products, medical malpractice, commercial trucking collisions, fire and explosions, nursing home abuse, and wrongful death claims.

Patrick completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, B.A., after attending St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute Preparatory School. He later earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of Arizona and the U.S. District Court, District of Arizona.

Patrick has served as lead counsel in more than 1,000 plaintiffs’ personal injury cases, securing verdicts and settlements exceeding one billion dollars for clients. Over a career spanning more than five decades, he has tried cases ranging from murder to malpractice and has represented victims in some of the most significant catastrophic events in Arizona and nationwide.

Patrick has handled landmark litigation against Ford Motor Company involving police interceptor vehicles, represented families affected by the Route 91 Las Vegas Shooting, and advocated for the Granite Mountain Hot Shot families. His work has also included major aviation disaster cases and other high-profile wrongful death matters.

Patrick has received numerous honors, including induction into the Law Dragon National Hall of Fame and the Maricopa County Bar Association Hall of Fame. He is a Fellow and past President of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
