Otis Landerholm

Otis C. Landerholm is the founding attorney of Landerholm Immigration, A.P.C., a respected Oakland-based firm dedicated to protecting immigrant rights. His mission is to change lives by defending those caught in the immigration system, providing strong advocacy and compassionate guidance to clients from all walks of life.

Otis earned his undergraduate degree from Washington State University before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco. He is a certified specialist in immigration and nationality law by the State Bar of California, a distinction reserved for attorneys who demonstrate deep expertise and are recognized by peers for their professional excellence.

Throughout his career, Otis has represented clients in removal defense, asylum, family-based petitions, and other complex immigration matters. His firm was recognized on the Law Firm 500 list of America’s fastest-growing law firms for three consecutive years. He is also the author of two books: There is Hope! Your Guide to Winning in Immigration Court and Overcoming the Immigration Lawyer’s Struggle, offering practical resources to both clients and colleagues.
