Peter Min-Su Kyung is the founding partner of KILO Immigration, a Sacramento-based firm that guides individuals and families through complex immigration processes. Known for his compassionate approach and proven success, he has assisted thousands of clients in achieving their immigration goals with diligence, care, and trusted legal strategies.
Peter earned his Juris Doctor from the McGeorge School of Law, where he concentrated in International Law and achieved honors including the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence, Dean’s Honor List, and membership in the Roger J. Traynor Honor Society. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, earning dual degrees in Mandarin Chinese and Political Science with a minor in Religious Studies. His strong academic foundation supports his excellence in immigration law.
Throughout his career, Peter has garnered numerous awards, a testament to his exceptional leadership in immigration law. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2015 to 2023, one of the Top 40 Under 40 by The National Advocates and the American Society of Legal Advocates, and a 10 Best Immigration Attorney in California by the American Institute of Legal Counsel. He has also been named among the Top 3 Immigration Lawyers in Sacramento by Three Best Rated.
Peter is actively involved in the legal community as Co-Founder of the Sacramento County Bar Association’s Immigration Law Section, Board Member of the SCBA, and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, including its Northern California chapter. He also dedicates time to public service, volunteering at naturalization fairs, deferred action events, and mentoring students at local high schools.
