Nikki Ramirez-Smith is the founder of Ramirez-Smith Law. Her practice includes immigration, personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation in state and federal courts. She gives each case personal attention, clear guidance, and strong preparation, helping clients address serious legal problems with focus and care.

Nikki earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Boise State University in 2006. She received her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Idaho, College of Law, in 2012. Her education supports her broad legal practice in immigration, litigation, family law, personal injury, and criminal defense.

Nikki’s awards include the Woman of Opportunity Award from Soroptomist International in 2005 and a scholarship from the Nampa Board of Realtors in 2005. During law school, she wrote an article on Children’s Rights Under International Law that was later published in the Critical Legal Studies Journal.

Nikki assists clients with Appeals, habeas petitions, Writs of Mandamus, Hague Convention litigation, 1983 Civil Rights Claims, and Prisoners’ Rights matters. She also handles immigration cases and civil litigation. Her approach is direct, detail-focused, and built around achieving fair results for clients.

Nikki has spoken at community events to help people understand their legal options. She has presented for the American Immigration Lawyers Association, was invited to speak at the AILA National Conference, and has participated in presentations at the Mexican Consulate and Know Your Rights Events.

Nikki Ramirez-Smith is a member of the Idaho Bar Association, Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys, American Association of Immigration Attorneys, ASISTA Immigration Network, and Idaho Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. She brings dedication, preparation, and strong advocacy to clients facing complex legal matters.
