Dawn Marie Harris

Dawn Marie Harris is a La Crosse, Wisconsin, lawyer with strong experience in employment, labor, family, criminal, and civil law matters. She opened her independent law firm in August 2008. In 2011, Harris won a $1.3 million jury verdict in a civil litigation matter after a week-long jury trial. In 2012, that result was upheld by both the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals, showing her ability to manage serious civil cases.

Her work includes discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, military leave, civil rights claims, Family and Medical Leave Act disputes, wage-and-hour issues, severance proposals, employment policies, non-compete agreements, contract rights, and defamation concerns.
