Nicole Berkowitz Riccio is a shareholder whose practice focuses on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. She represents clients in patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and unfair competition disputes across industries such as technology, transportation, hospitality, and retail. She has substantial experience litigating before federal district courts, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and the U.S. Copyright Office, delivering strong advocacy in both high-stakes disputes and transactional intellectual property matters.
Riccio earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Washington University School of Law in 2015, where she served as Managing Editor of the Washington University Law Review. She completed her B.A. in Economics at Vanderbilt University in 2012. She is admitted to practice in Florida, Tennessee, and Missouri, as well as numerous U.S. District Courts and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Eleventh Circuits.
Riccio’s experience includes securing injunctive relief in trademark disputes, resolving complex patent infringement cases, and representing clients in multimillion-dollar arbitration matters. She also counsels on the identification, protection, and enforcement of intellectual property rights, drafting and negotiating licensing agreements, assignments, and nondisclosure agreements. With her background as a federal judicial clerk, Riccio brings unique insight into litigation strategy and courtroom advocacy, offering clients trusted guidance in intellectual property and commercial disputes.
