About
Nicholas W. Quincey is the founder of Quincey Law, where he advocates for clients facing insurance bad faith and unjust denials of care. He represents individuals throughout California, holding powerful insurers accountable when they fail to honor their obligations to policyholders.
Mr. Quincey began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney after earning his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. While in law school, he served with both the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, contributing to major criminal cases including People v. Knight and People v. Durst. He holds a B.A. in Economics from UCLA.
Drawing on years of courtroom and litigation experience, Mr. Quincey now focuses his practice on insurance bad faith litigation. His background as a prosecutor sharpened his trial instincts and ability to pursue justice aggressively—skills he now uses to challenge billion-dollar companies like Blue Shield, Anthem, and New York Life.
In addition to insurance litigation, Mr. Quincey has represented clients in catastrophic personal injury and sensitive cases involving mental health and child sexual abuse. He works with people from all walks of life, ensuring they are treated with the fairness and dignity often denied by large corporations.
Before founding his firm, Nicholas W. Quincey worked as a trial attorney for boutique firms specializing in insurance and personal injury cases. Raised in a family rooted in farming and public service, Mr. Quincey brings a strong work ethic and sense of integrity to every client relationship. He is a member of multiple professional associations, including the Orange County Bar Association, CAALA, and the American Association for Justice, reflecting his deep commitment to client advocacy and legal excellence.
