Gore Gaines is a Director at Lytle Soulé & Felty, where he brings decades of experience across a broad spectrum of practice areas, including bankruptcy and creditor rights, commercial law, employment and labor law, estate planning, and insurance defense. His legal acumen spans both litigation and advisory roles for businesses and individuals.
Gore’s earned his J.D. cum laude from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1994, where he served on the Moot Court Board and the Jessup Moot Court Team. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma, completed in 1991. He is admitted to the Oklahoma Bar and to all U.S. District Courts in Oklahoma, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
Before joining private practice, Gore served as an Oklahoma Assistant Attorney General and worked on the legal staff for the Governor of Oklahoma. These roles deepened his knowledge of government law and public service, shaping the strong advocacy he brings to his clients today.
Gore has been recognized for his excellence in legal practice, including honors such as “OKC’s Best Lawyers” in bankruptcy by 405 Magazine and an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. He has also been awarded Outstanding Associate and Outstanding Barrister by the Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inn of Court.
Beyond the courtroom, Gore Gaines contributes to professional and civic organizations, including leadership roles in the Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America and service as Chair of the Oklahoma Educational Foundation for Osteopathic Medicine.
