Nicholas M. Krayer

Nicholas M. Krayer is a dedicated Delaware attorney with a focus on personal injury and workers’ compensation law. Nicholas began his academic path at St. Elizabeth High School before earning a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Delaware in 2003. He continued his education at Widener University Delaware Law School, receiving his J.D. in 2006. During law school, he earned pro bono honors for his volunteer legal work.

Nicholas began his career as a Deputy Attorney General for the Delaware Department of Justice, where he prosecuted criminal cases. He also served as a Deputy Child Advocate, representing abused and neglected children. This public service shaped his commitment to protecting the rights of those facing serious challenges.

Nicholas later joined a Delaware insurance defense firm where he represented insurers in injury and workers’ compensation claims. This gave him firsthand knowledge of how insurance companies operate. He then shifted to representing injured individuals, using his insight to advocate more effectively on behalf of clients.

Nicholas is licensed to practice in Delaware and the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. He is a member of several professional groups, including the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, where he also served as president, and the American Association for Justice. He is also an active member of the Randy J. Holland Delaware Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court.

Nicholas has earned numerous honors, including recognition as a Super Lawyer from 2021 to 2025 and inclusion among Delaware’s Top Lawyers in 2024. He has also received a Clients’ Choice Award and holds a 10.0 Superb Rating on AVVO.
