Nicholas A. Solitro

Nicholas A. Solitro is an associate attorney at Robert E. Craven & Associates, where he represents clients in personal injury, criminal defense, DUI defense, and general litigation matters. He has been part of the firm since 2010 and provides dedicated legal representation to clients throughout Rhode Island.

Nicholas earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from Quinnipiac University, graduating magna cum laude in just three years. He later received his Juris Doctor, with honors, from Pace Law School and was a member of the school’s nationally recognized law review.

Nicholas currently serves as Assistant Solicitor for several municipalities in Rhode Island. He has also served as Municipal Court Judge for the Town of Richmond and previously for the City of Cranston, reflecting his strong involvement in the state’s legal system.

Nicholas is admitted to practice in all Rhode Island state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, and the United States Supreme Court. He is also an active member of the Rhode Island State Bar, Rhode Island Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

Nicholas has received recognition, including RI Monthly’s “Professional Excellence in Law” Award, and has been named a Rhode Island Super Lawyers “Rising Star.” He also contributed as an author to A Practical Guide to Trying DUI Cases in Rhode Island, 2nd Edition (2024).

Nicholas A. Solitro also serves as an adjunct instructor in the Legal Studies Department at the Community College of Rhode Island, where he teaches law courses while continuing his legal practice. He is married and the father of two children.
