Na’Shaun Lamar Neal is an experienced civil rights attorney at PLC Law Group, where he focuses on police misconduct and employment discrimination cases. He has successfully represented clients in both state and federal courts, advocating for those whose rights have been violated. With a strong background in litigation and appeals, he has helped secure important legal victories that have strengthened civil rights protections.
Neal earned his B.A. in Political Science (2004) and J.D. (2008) from UCLA, making him a “Double-Bruin.” His legal education prepared him to handle complex civil rights cases and develop strategies to challenge injustices at all levels of the legal system.
Neal has built a strong record of success in personal injury, police misconduct, and employment discrimination cases. As a key member of PLC Law Group’s appellate team, he has argued and won cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California Court of Appeal, helping to set important legal precedents that safeguard individuals’ civil rights and hold law enforcement accountable for misconduct.
Before entering private practice, Neal clerked for Honorable Raner C. Collins of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona (2008-2010) and Honorable Arenda L. Wright Allen of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (2011-2013). His clerkship experience involved handling various civil and criminal cases tackling complex procedural and legal issues. Later, he worked as a Deputy Attorney General in the California Attorney General’s Criminal Division, where he represented the state in felony appeals and habeas corpus proceedings.
Licensed to practice in California, Arizona, and multiple federal courts, Na’Shaun Lamar Neal continues to be a strong advocate for justice. His work has contributed to significant legal victories that protect civil rights, ensuring accountability and fairness within the legal system.
